FAQ's

What XPEL window tint films do you offer, and what’s the difference between PRIME CS and PRIME XR?

We are an authorized XPEL dealer offering PRIME CS and PRIME XR (nano-ceramic) series.

•  PRIME CS delivers excellent color stability (won’t turn purple or fade), strong UV protection, and solid performance at a more accessible price.

•  PRIME XR (including XR Plus options) uses advanced nano-ceramic technology for dramatically better heat rejection — blocking up to 98% of infrared heat in top tiers — while maintaining crystal-clear visibility and zero signal interference.

Both lines block 99%+ of UV rays and won’t interfere with electronics. We’ll help you choose based on your budget, climate needs, and desired darkness.

How long does XPEL window tint last, and what is the warranty?

XPEL PRIME window tint is engineered to last for the life of your vehicle with proper care. When professionally installed by an authorized XPEL dealer like us, it is backed by a limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking, adhesive failure, and discoloration. We also stand behind our installation with a workmanship guarantee, so you can have confidence in your investment.

What are the window tint laws in New Jersey?

New Jersey’s window tint laws vary depending on the type of vehicle and the windows being tinted. We can explain the available tint options and help you choose a film that fits your needs, but it is ultimately the vehicle owner’s responsibility to ensure their vehicle complies with all applicable state and local laws. If you have questions about legal tint percentages, we’re happy to help guide you before your installation.

Does XPEL window tint interfere with cell phones, GPS, or radio signals?

No. All XPEL PRIME films (both CS and XR) are non-metallized and contain no signal-blocking particles. You’ll enjoy full cellular, GPS, Bluetooth, and radio performance with no issues.

What is Paint Protection Film (PPF) and what are its benefits?

Paint Protection Film (also called clear bra or PPF) is a thick, self-healing polyurethane film applied to your vehicle’s painted surfaces. It protects against rock chips, road debris, bird droppings, tree sap, and minor scratches while preserving your paint’s gloss and resale value. XPEL PPF is optically clear and virtually invisible once installed.

How does XPEL PPF compare to ceramic coating?

PPF provides physical protection against impacts and abrasions — something ceramic coating cannot do. Ceramic coating adds hydrophobicity (water beading), gloss, and easier cleaning but offers minimal protection from rock chips. Many customers choose both: PPF on high-impact areas (full front, hood, mirrors, etc.) plus a ceramic coating over the PPF and rest of the vehicle for maximum protection and shine.

What is the warranty on XPEL Paint Protection Film and how long does it last?

XPEL PPF (such as Ultimate Plus) comes with a 10-year warranty against yellowing, cracking, bubbling, and delamination when installed by an authorized XPEL installer. The film itself is designed to last the life of the vehicle with proper care. Note that the warranty covers manufacturing defects and film failure — not every rock chip impact (though PPF dramatically reduces paint damage).

How long does installation take and what should I expect?

Window tinting usually takes 2–4 hours depending on the vehicle and number of windows. PPF installation varies widely we will give you an accurate timeline when you book. Most customers can wait on-site or drop off the vehicle for window tinting.
